The Adult School
The adult school wants to give illiterate Afghans the chance to catch up with their basic education.
This section of the Centre pays respect to Ahmad Shah Massoud's emphasis on education. He himself studied engineering in the Kabul Polytechnic before the Soviet invasion forced him to give up his classes. He was also versed in a couple of languages. He tried to instill the thirst for learning in both his children as well as his closer circle. Under his guidance there were further several schools built throughout Panjshir for both girls and boys.
We offer both Dari and Pashto literacy classes as well as basic computer and English training. Those classes are offered free of charge.
We further offer literature appreciation classes, creative arts and writing classes. Others maybe offered if there is demand. These are available against a modest fee.
