We are ... We are a group of independant and non-political Afghans and friends of Afghanistan who want to build a true memorial for Ahmad Shah Massoud. A memorial which reflects his values and thinking and which enables a wide range of Afghans to appreciate learning and the arts. The planned Massoud Library & Culture Centres are funded and managed by the Ahmad Shah Massoud Library Association. We are registered according to Afghan Law with the Ministry of Justice and follow all regulatory provisions there-under. This includes full financial transparency. All members of the Association are volunteers and take no salaries. In the future, however, we will have to hire employees so as to run the centres in a coordinated manner. We are not affiliated with the Massoud Foundation. We want ... We are planning on building a public library cum culture centre for everybody's appreciation in all major cities of Afghanistan.
